Oft times, I stop and wonder,
just what might have been,
If we'd only bowed our heads,
and prayed to God, again.

This world could be much better,
than it's ever been before,
if we'd stopped to think,
to pray to God once more.

Our rights would not be challenged,
nor, finally taken away,
if we would only exercise,
our God given right to pray.

Many changes have happened,
that cause us grief and shame.
We have become our problem.
God is not to blame.

The results are not final.
We still can turn the tide.
Stop whatever you're doing,
and once more, in him, confide.

Let him know you trust him,
and on his care, depend.
He will not forsake you.
He's with you to the end
