In the upper room that evening
For our Lord's last meal
What was He really thinking?
How did He really feel?

Did He know of the immense pain
He would ultimately face?
Was He even nervous?
Did He have fear the 12 couldn't trace?

How could He go through with it?
Did He see ahead to now?
If the disciples had known what was coming
Would they try to stop Him? And How?

But His deep love for all the world
Such has NEVER been topped
Was Jesus' only driving force
And thus; He couldn't be stopped.

When He gave His life that day
After walking up that hill
He was giving love to all
And completing His Father's Will.
