Welcome to my Duran Duran Directory, jumpstarted on June 21, 2000! Here, you will find all the latest news on our favorite Duran members, some pictures I have accumulated over the years (with credit given to my friends who have supplied the ones I didn't have), and some personal babble about my love for music and Duran Duran. I hope you enjoy this website, even though it's going to be under construction for the next coming weeks!

JUST ADDED!UPDATED on May 21, 2001. Some news in the paragraphs below concerning the Duran Duran reunion and Warren's split!The pics from the August 19, 2000 show at King's Island, which I was lucky enough to attend, have FINALLY been uploaded to my Yahoo! Also, special Hello to Tina and Heth, and to congratulate Tina on meeting Duran Duran at Pleasure Island on New Year's! They also spent many nights with the Boys in Chicago and other various places. I will post their pics on here if possible!
May 2001: Duran Duran, as a trio, consisting of Simon, Warren, and Nick have come to a close. Warren has returned to reunite with Missing Persons. Simon and Nick have rejoined forces with Andy, Roger, and John to complete an album due out in 2002. As sad as I am to see Warren go, I have to admit that I am very very excited to see the original 5! Hopefully, they will tour. I will keep all of you Duranies updated!Until then, no new news from here, keep checking the Duran Duran Official Site for updates, and watch for the Boys to show up on MTV's 20 Year Anniversary in June or July!

OLD NEWS: LAST NIGHT WAS MY FIRST DURAN DURAN CONCERT! My review will be posted in my message board section since it's HUGE! Once you read it, you will understand why I am up so early the day after the show...AMAZING! (Hi Heather and Amanda, awesome show, eh?)The House of Blues Banner/Logo have been added about the Video Cybercast! Also, my Links list has been screwing up, so a links page has been added. It can be found in the menu below, beside of the link to Warren's page! As for old news, there are still many people are working on reviews and such, and always in attendance, so keep checking back! There are 3 new banners that I made for you to add to your site, advertising the Duran Duran Directory. The banners are now up and running, the HTML coding listed above them in the section! Sorry for the trouble this has been to add to the page!

I have been a Duranie since I was quite small, and still remain true to them. I am a Telecommunications major at the University of Kentucky, and I plan to be in music production-all thanks to the likes of Duran Duran, INXS, and The Culture Club/Boy George. I must admit that, while I love Duran Duran, I find a special place in my heart for one significant member: Nick Rhodes. I am sure that will show throughout the construction of my page.
Also, it goes without saying that Duran joined INXS as a huge influence of mine, and Michael Hutchence is still around today and his effect on music and the fans still rings true, as well as his legend, no matter if he has passed away. Since he was close with Simon, especially, I feel we all mourn together as a community, and when I hear 'Michael, You've Got Alot to Answer For' it melts my heart, since the song was out when Michael passed.
