Just Between You & Me is brand new music by Ja Rule and needless to say it's just another part of the oversaturated market that is "Bad Rap". There is good rap. Country Grammer, Let's Ride and Stan are examples of good rap. This song is, well, not great to begin with. The fact that Ja Rule is the one "singing", makes it worse. There is a big difference between radio rap, like for instance Country Grammer and "club" rap like DMX. That's where Ja Rule fits in. Just Between You & Me belongs in a club, not on pop radio. The only highlight here is the chorus, which incidently isn't sung by Ja Rule. It sounds nice and uses the beat well. If the whole song was like this maybe it would get a positive review. Although, Ja Rule would be singing it so probably not.
