If you hadn't already figured it out, this is the section of my site where I put confessions, my own and others submitted to me by fans like you, stupid things we've done to get tickets or catch them on TV, etc etc etc. Don't you just love laughing your head off at some of our nutty antics? Yeah, well, I love it too. So here ya go!
Wouldn't They Be Freaked Out To Hear...
That I'm trying to learn Spanish? Using Nunca Te Hecho Llorar? (I'll Never Break Your Heart, Spanish Version)
That most of us knew the words to Drowning, or any other new song, before we ever heard it on the radio?
That we spend hours looking at humour pages and laughing like we never have before? (I do, atleast).
That we all hate Jamie Foxx because of what he did at the MTV VMAs. (No stupid, champagne does not equal apple cider. *rolls eyes*).
That we spend days searching for BSB songs on Napster and other programs, even if they're only clips and last a few seconds? So what, we listen to them over and over and over again!
That we sometimes talk to the TV when they are on? (Example: "Kevin! OMG! Where the heck was Kristen when you decided to wear that skirt?" and "Thank goodness you got a haircut Howie! You look so much better now!")
Even in the most crowded resteraunts or malls, we can pick up on a BSB song being played almost silently over the speakers? Oh, it's not just me, I've taught my brother to do that too. >.< (He goes "Hey Sam! Listen!" and then, if for some weird reason I can't hear it, he finishes his statement..."It's Shape of My Heart!" Oh my.)
That we have somehow, even a little, turned one of our non-bsb liking friends into a fan. Yes! I have fulfilled my duties as a fan! Even if she only had the biggest crush on Nick for a few days, it was still something right? She made (no wait, I don't mind) me rewind and re-watch QPG over and over again so she could see Nick. Hehehe. You know who I'm talking about, Moey! (Oops, let the cat out of the bag there, didn't I?)
That some of us have bought teenybopper mags just cuz we needed new posters to add to our BSB-wallpaper? *gasp*
That I want to rent Olive Juice just to see Brian and AJ? (That isn't that bad...is it? I heard it was a pretty bad movie tho, so maybe it is?)
That as soon as you start a conversation with someone about something, What you had for lunch yesterday, for example, that you automatically think "Hey, I had Mac and Cheese, Brian likes Mac and Cheese". The stupid little things us fans think about. *tsk tsk tsk*
If we bring up the names Brian, Nick, Howie, AJ or Kevin, our friends (even the ones who don't like BSB) know that we're not talking about the ones at school?
Our other CD's gather dust while we listen to Millennium, Black and Blue, Backstreet Boys and Backstreet's Back all the time?
How much time I spend watching my BSB tapes repeatedly? Over and over and over again? Can't get enough!
That "obsession" is an understatement?
That we have clothes that resemble clothes we have seen them wearing? (I have Brian shorts. No, they aren't really Brian's shorts, they just look like ones I saw him wearing. I know, I know, I'm pathetic.)
I (and others, I'm sure) have the reputation as "the girl who loves the Backstreet Boys"? Some of those people don't even know my name.
How much money we spend on tickets? Geez! I could feed my entire family for a whole year for the amount we spend on tickets! :o)
That we have silly little keepsakes such as really old ticket stubs and the cups and french fry containers that have them on it from BK? I even have the wrapper that my Brian toy came in. *sighs*
That we mark their birthdays on the calendar and draw hearts on special days to remind ourselves that the new single/CD/video/tape/DVD comes out, but so that no one else knows? They just think we're being decorative! ^.^
That if anyone talks to us while they're on the TV or radio, we get beyond ticked?
That I've just about broken my toes a billion times when I have tried to rush to the TV when they're on?
That we try to use the "every sixth person is connected thing" such as "Well, I met Britney Spears, who did a commercial with Nsync, who has played basketball with the BSB". See? That is only 3!
That I now love Morpheus more than ever cuz I've found a bunch of concert footage?
That I have spent a long time thinking about all the funny/stupid/silly/outrageous things I have done because of them?
