I was reading in my magazine today about the NSync-BSB rivalry going on. In March AJ was the first BSB member to openly "trash" their competitors, NSync. All I have to say is YOU GO AJ! Also according to J-14, the Boys really really want to break NSync's record of 2.4 million copies sold in one week. And y'know what? I hope they do! We all know they deserve it. Oh yeah, I just want to say that if you consider J-14 a teenybopper mag, let me just say I didn't buy it, someone gave it to me as part of a gift. :o) So, I'll leave this little piece of information with one last line...YOU GO AJ!
It Makes Me Mad!
Well, as we all know, NSync broke BSB's record for CD sales in the first week [2.4 million]. This ticks me off. No, not because they are BSB competitors, but because they cheated. It has been proved that most NSync fans bought more than one copy of "No Strings Attatched" in the first week and then either gave them away, returned them or just left them in the bottom drawer of their desks and forgot about them. Like I said, this ticks me off. NSync did not really break the record cuz their fans cheated. What would they think if they heard that? I, personally, don't think they would be too pleased. This isn't fair to them or BSB. If you bought more than one copy, you know who you are. If you're going to win something, you want it to be truthful and not achieved by cheating.

Hahaha! Did ya'll hear about that day when Nick DJ'd for 93.3 as DJ Kid Nicky and prank called Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears? What makes me wonder is how he got the two of them together and why Justin answered her phone. Anyway, it doesn't matter, it made for a very funny phone call! Hear it here. Oh, yeah. One last thing. You're Goin' Down Britney!
Grr...she makes me mad!! Did you hear her talking about having Millennium previewed on her debut album? If you didn't, click here now to do so. Anyway, our dear Brit is ticked off about this. In her exact words: "I mean, ten years down the road, when somebody goes to pick up my CD, their gonna have the Backstreet Boys on it. And by then, who knows who the Backstreet Boys are gonna be." Whoa!! I mean, I'm sure the Backstreet Boys will still be remembered and maybe even be more successful than they are now (if that's possible) but who knows where you are gonna be? At a poll at one of my favourite BSB sites, (visit it here) 41% of the voters said that they got the album just because of the BSB's tracks on it, 18% said they got it because the like/liked her music, 9% said they bought it but they liked her music and because of the BSB tracks, 1% said they bought it even though they didn't like BSB or Britney's music, and 28% said they didn't buy it. Oooh...look here. Most of the votes went right to the BSB tracks. Isn't that interesting? Makes you wonder how many copies she would have sold without them on there. Now, I admit, I do have her first CD. I have listened and tried to find the BSB tracks, but they aren't there! Is it just American or overseas albums that have them, cuz I have a Canadian version. OMG...They're Back Again! Black and Blue Is Finally Here! Well, BSB is finally back with another album, sure to be an awesome success! After reading a newspaper article in our newspaper, I was somewhat mad and amazed at the same time! It seems that more than 5 MILLION people pre-ordered the album, and I'm sure another few million people bought it the first day(Including me!)! It looks like BSB is back with another incredably successful album! If you don't have it already, you should go and get it! Don't listen to those reporters, this album rocks!! Songs like "Everyone" which is awesome, and "Get another Boyfriend", "The Call", and "It's True", with "Shape of My Heart" of course, make this album spectacular! The reviewer from our newspaper really ticked me off. His review was just as insulting to us, the fans, as it was to BSB and everyone else that worked long and hard to get this album off the ground, and trust me, it payed off! I am in the proccess of writing an arguing letter to the reporter that wrote that article calling BSB aweful and maybe they'll put it in the newspaper as well. I sure hope so. He also said that N Stink were the "new kids on the block"; they may be, but everyone knows that the original is better than the wannabes! Keep going BSB, true fans won't go over to the "dark side" and become N Stink fans just because they're new!
