I have been a fan of the BSB for almost 4 years now, and a very proud one at that! I have 10 t-shirts and counting, keychains, CDs and Singles, magazines, tapes, posters, etc etc etc. I love watching them on TV and I watch my videos too much, according to my parents. I have more than one homepage devoted to them and I am sure I drive my pals nuts with my "obsession".
I became a life-long and loyal fan at a BSB concert here in Vancouver three years ago this August. I was hoping to go to the Spice Girls concert, but we couldn't get tickets. My mom asked me if I would like to go see the Backstreet Boys. I had never been to a concert, so of course I agreed. Little did I know that I would leave that stadium a fan. We were up in the "nosebleeds" section (Thank goodness for big TV screens on either side of the stage) but I still had the best night of my life and would do anything to go to another concert. My mom got me a t-shirt there and I wore it so much that I actually went out and bought a duplicate of it because it had holes in it! Since then, everytime I see them on TV or listen to them on the radio, I love them just a little bit more. So, now as you can imagine, I am a HUGE HUGE fan.
I got the chance to go to another BSB concert in Vancouver in February of 2001, and it was absolutely incredable! But of course, all BSB concerts are, right? I loved it so much that I bugged my mom to get tickets for us again to go when they come here in August and we are! I can't wait, even though our seats aren't good at all!
The BSB are amazing singers, great dancers and seem like reallly nice guys. I take pride in my love for them and when I am asked why I love them so much, I am pleased that someone has noticed, no matter who it is. I'm gonna be a fan, always and forever!
