Artist's notes:
This is the album that put The Breetles on the map.  The first two tracks were recorded in 1982 ("Hang On To Everything" and "I Like All Kinds Of Girls") at the legendary TOWER STUDIOS, in-between Rockin' Bricks sessions.   Engineer was Chris Cavallaro, and the inverse relationship between Chris Breetveld's growing skills running the sessions for himself and Cavallaro's diminishing patience with same, proved fortuitous indeed.

The last two songs recorded were from Eric Block's Queens NY apartment studio where he and Breet first put "Not The Only Girl" to tape, then later Breet (with Blind Lemon Pledge) did "Supervisor Blues", a song about, and written during, CB's job at St. Luke's Hospital. "Only Girl" was farmed out to WRITERSCRAMP for the 2000 release and will be available, in the future, on the director's cut edition of SQUARES, along with "All Kinds of Girls".

It was during this time period (1984-86) that Breet toured the US of fuckin' A with Beatlemania, drumming and singing as Ringo. We must, at this time, credit a certain Mr. Tom Reock with coming up with the curious moniker "The Breetles" for CB's future recording endeavors.  In return, Chris came up with Tom's "Reock 'n' Roll" trademark.  Tom also served as drummer-who-wouldn't-tour for the group as they prepared for IPO'98 in Los Angeles. The multi-talented Robbie Rist sat in for that rockin' set.
