Chapter 1

"Hey Danielle, what's up?" Ashley asked her best friend once they were in school the next day.

"I had an interesting night. I chatted with this guy, John, he was so sweet." Danielle beamed.

"Yeah? You better watch out, he could either be a stalker or....well, you know." Ashley laughed.

"Yeah, yeah. But he was so sweet, I hope he's like that for real." Danielle told her. They walked over to their lockers and found Crissy fighting with her boyfriend, Josh, again.

"How many times do I have to tell you? I didn't cheat on you! If I wanted to cheat on you, I would have and told you to your face!" Crissy screamed at him.

"No, Will told me that you kissed him." Josh responded. They went on like that for a few more minutes until the bell rang and Josh had to go to his class. Crissy quickly got her books from her locker and joined me and Ashley for our English class.

"What was that all about?" I asked her once we got inside the room.

"Nothing, he just jumps to conclusions too much." Crissy responded.

"Yeah, I've noticed." Ashley told her. We talked for a few more minutes until our teacher walked in the room. The day seemed to go by slower then any other day. I couldn't wait to get home and check my mail.

(Later that day.)

Once I got home, I changed into some comfortable clothes and grabbed some food to chew on. I walked up my staircase and walked into my room to my computer. I signed on and opened my mailbox. I had lots of friends so everyday I would have at least 30 e-mails that had some kind of importance to me. I went through each e-mail one by one and then I finally got to the one e-mail I've been awaiting for....John's.

Dear Danielle,

Hey, how are you doing? I'm fine. I just wanted to tell you that I was really grateful that I found a nice and sweet friend like you. Normally, I wouldn't be able to meet someone that I can have a normal talk with. Thanks, this does mean a lot to me! :) Talk to you later.

E-mail me back! John.

PS. I don't usually get online a lot, I never have the time but now that I met you, I'll try to get on more. So, if you e-mail me and you don't get a response for a while, that's the reason. Sorry in advance. Peace!

I smiled when I finished reading his e-mail. I turned on my printer and printed out his e- mail, I don't normally do that but I thought this was special. I e-mailed him back right away. I then signed off and went to work at McDonald's.

"Nick! You've been on that thing for like an hour now! I need to call my family! Get off now!" Kevin yelled at Nick. They were in Orlando now, in a real house with real food and things like that, un-hotel like.

"Sorry." Nick responded, trying to finish writing a e-mail. He quickly finished it and signed off.

"Ever since a few days ago, you can't keep yourself away from this thing! What's up?" Kevin asked.

"I know, I'm sorry. I just met somebody that I really like." Nick answered simply. With that said, Kevin softened. Lately, Nick has been moody and complaining about his love life or lack there of. Everyone tried to hook him up with somebody they knew but the girls ended up bimbo's, just in it for the money and fame, or wasn't his type.

"Oh, ok. Just don't get too attached or anything, you do have concerts, interviews, and things like that." Kevin reminded him.

"Ok, thanks Kev. The phone line is yours." Nick replied, walking away.
