To Capture Mew on Film

Believe it or not, Mew is available in Pokemon Snap. In order to film him, make your way to the Valley.
At the end of the Valley, you will see Squirtles bowling with the Mankeys. Throw a pester ball at the Squirtle that goes into its shell. If timed correctly, it will go into the Mankey at the top of the mountain. The Mankey will fall down and land near a switch. Knock it with a pester ball so it falls on top of the switch.

Now that Mankey has activated the switch, a door will open to Professor Oak's secret retreat. Talk to him and he will tell you about some certain formations of land that look like pokemon.

Find these "signs" and take pictures of them.

Now that you have found all of the signs, Professor Oak will let you go to the Rainbow Cloud stage. The only pokemon there is Mew. Hit Mew with pester balls six times to break his energy shield, and then snap a picture of him while he chases a new one. Hit him with a pester ball to make him stand still for a little bit.

10,000 Points for Mew
After Mew is out of the energy shield and has just appeared chasing a new one, hit it with a pester ball. Wait until it is almost done spinning and then hit it with the pester ball again. Keep doing this until Mew is in front of you, but don't get too close. When it turns to face you, center the left paw in the photograph. If you centered it correctly and it was the right distance, you will get at least 9900 -10,000 points.

Make Your Own Pokemon Movies
Find the pokemon who you want your movie to be about. Once you find it, use your entire roll of film rapidly on him. Once your pictures are done, go back to Professor Oak and use the Album Check feature. Hold the joystick to the right and you will see a movie of the way the pokemon was walking around!

Jigglypuff Trio
In the river stage, it is possible to see a trio of Jigglypuff singing. When you come to the Jigglypuff that is being chased by Koffing, throw a pester ball at the Koffing. Koffing will fall to the ground and disappear. A few seconds later, another Jigglypuff being chased by Koffing will come. Hit that Koffing also. Finally, there will be another Jigglypuff that needs to be saved towards the end of the level. Save him too. Now, when you come to the last part of the level, there will be three platforms with Jigglypuff on each of them singing their hearts out to you. Snap this for major points!

The Posing Pikachus
Here are the locations for some very special photographs of everyone's favorite pokemon.

To see Pikachu rolling on an Electrode, go to the Tunnel. When you start the stage, take pictures of the Pikachu immediately. He should move farther down. Keep taking his picture. He will stop and jump on a rolling Electrode.

To see Speed Pikachu, go to the River. At the very end on your left you should see Pikachu hiding behind a tree. Throw an apple at Pikachu and it should fall down. Then he will run back and forth as Speed Pikachu.

To see Surfing Pikachu, go to the Beach. Throw apples at the first Pikachu you see. Make a path of apples from the Pikachu to the surf board on your right. If you do it right, Pikachu will climb aboard and start to surf!

To see Pikachu on a stump, go to the Beach. The first time you see Meowth chasing a Pidgey out of the long grass, throw pester balls into the long grass to get Scyther. After you get Scyther, two Pikachus should come out to the stump on your left side. Lead them with apples and play the Pokeflute after they are on the stumps to get extra points.

To see Balloon Pikachu, go to the Cave. Towards the end, you will see a Zubat carrying Pikachu. Hit the Zubat with apples and pester balls until he drops Pikachu. Pikachu will sprout balloons and fly away.

To see Pikachu ride Articuno, save Pikachu from the Zubat in the Cave. Awaken Articuno from his egg by playing the Pokeflute. When you get to the end of the level next to where JIgglypuff's stage is, turn around and you will see Pikachu riding on Articuno.

The Dancing Charmanders
In the Volcano level, go to where you find the giant Moltres egg, but do not hit it with anything. Let your Zero-One hit the egg and your cart will stop. You can then attract the group of six Charmanders with apples and make them dance together with the Pokeflute. You can get a lot of points for making them get very close to you!

4,400 Points for Shellder
On the River level, start tossing apples at the first Slowpoke from a distance to make him start fishing with his tail. He will pull up the Shellder at the same time you reach him. Get a close-up photo of the Shellder biting the Slowpoke's tail before Slowpoke evolves for a 4,400 point shot!

Slow Down the Zero-One
To slow down the Zero-One, just keep pressing the right and left C buttons back and forth. This helps to take better pictures of different pokemon.

Magmar Vs. Charmander
At the Volcano level travel in your Zero-One until you see a Charmander and a Magmar standing by each other. Toss an apple between them and they will both try to get it. Magmar will scorch Charmander with a flamethrower attack and he will faint, but then it gets up and evolves into Charmeleon to beat up Magmar!

Porygon Shows His True Colors
On the River level, you will see a Porygon against the wall. It is camouflaged to the wall's color. Hit it with a Pester Ball and it will reveal its true colors to you.

More Points From Meowth
To get more points from Meowth, take a picture of him when he has fainted or use the Pokeflute and snap him while he is dancing.
