Game Rules

Rules are the same as in real bowling. You bowl 10 frames. You are allowed 2 balls in each frame to try to knock down all 10 pins. A perfect score is 300. If you bowl over 200, your score is excellent.

How to play

1. With your mouse, click in any one of the boxes of frame #1 on the First Ball Chart to see how many pins you knocked down. If you score 10 points, proceed to the next frame. a 10-point ball shows as an X and is called a Strike. 2. If you score less than 10 on your first ball, find the line on the Second Ball Chart that has the same number you made on your first ball. Select and check in any box on that line to find what you scored on your second ball. Then proceed to the next frame.

How to Score

1. Using your mouse and keyboard, record the number of pins on your first ball of the frame in the upper left box. Record the second ball in the upper right box. EXAMPLE: 2. If you get a “strike” (an X on your first ball), you get 10 pins for that frame plus a bonus of the total pins on your next two balls. Mark the Score Chart with an "X". EXAMPLE: Do not accumulate in the large box until the next 2 balls scores are known. 3. If you score a “spare” (10 pins total for both balls in frame), you get 10 pins in that frame plus whatever you score on the next ball you throw. A spare is marked on the Score Chart with a diagonal line “/” in the second block. EXAMPLE: Do not accumulate in the large box until the next 2 balls scores are known. 4. Accumulate score by adding total pins of each frame to the next frame as shown above. Maximum score in one frame is 30 pins. If you score a “strike”, do not record your comlete score for that frame until you know what you do on the next 2 balls (next one ball if you score a “spare”). 5. If you “strike in the 10th frame, you get 2 extra balls. If you “spare” in th 10th frame, you get one extra ball.
