Pokemon is up for 7 awards in the first annual Jellybean Awards for Anime. It has been nominated in the following categories:

Best Comic Artist

Best Animal (Pikachu)

Best Theme Song (James, for "Lucky Lucky")

Best Male Sidekick (Brock)

Best Wardrobe (Team Rocket)

Best Cross-dresser (James)

Best Catch Phrase (Team Rocket, for the motto)

Also, three of the voice actors for the Japanese series are up for Best Voice Actor:

Tomokazu Seki (voices Kenji)

Ikue Otani (voices Pikachu in English and Japanese)

Megumi Hiashibara (voices Musashi, Fushigidane, and Pidgeon)
