When one thinks of Bespin Guard, whom I will call from here on out "Bespina," one possibly thinks "Who the hell is this guy?" Well, my friends, I think something different. And so does my friend Sam Smith. That is because we have had the favor of knowing this brilliant man, this unearthly entity, this creature of majestic proportions.
I am not sure where to begin with Bespina. This is because so much of his power and beauty lies in his mystery. He is of unknown origin. Take a look at Bespina. He lives here, in the box below. Then continue scrolling down:
At first glance you might assume that Bespina is of human origin.
However, he is the human origin.
Now look deeper.
Deeper still.
Examine the inner worlds of Bespinas mind.
What is it that you experienced? Did you hear a childs laughter? Perhaps the musical stylings of a beautiful songbird. Or perhaps you felt a sudden rush of energy, of passion. Perhaps Bespina himself spoke to you - not necessarily in words, mind you. Bespina has other ways of communicating his grandeur. And maybe you felt the hand of this entity reach out and touch your shoulder, reminding you that while life may be difficult at times, in the end all that matters is love.
I could write pages and pages on Bespina. But I feel that I will never do him justice. Perhaps now that you've faced Bespina, his image of Bespina will be forever burned into your memory. Honor him. And please, whenever you are in need of spiritual guidance, feel free to return to Bespinas Sanctuary. He will always be here waiting for you.
