One of the most commonly asked questions on Neopets is "How do I become rich?" Well, here are some good tips that I used when I first got started. I'm not rich, however. It's as easy as 1,2,3. Or A,B,C.
1. Play Games. Games are one of the best ways to raise NP. There's a vast selection of wonderful Flash games that you can play every day to raise np. One of my favorites is Korbat's Lab. It's easy and you can play 3 times a day.
2. Open a Shop. You'll never ever find a successful Neopian that doesn't have a shop. The shop is one of the most important tools in NP making. First, open up a shop. When you can, search for items and buy the cheap ones. Sell them for a bit more than you paid. Pretty clever, huh?
3. Save, Save, Save! Your first month or so on Neopets may be rough. Save your Neopoints so you can build interest. Don't worry though, you can do it!
4. Quests. After you've saved up at least 10,000, you can start doing quests now. I'm talking Witch Quests and Kitchen Quests. Don't bother with the braintree, he's the most expensive. Do quests ONLY if they are cheap or if you're feeling brave and confident that you won't get a junky prize then be my guest. Every now and then the witch will give you a rare and/or expensive item. SELL IT! You see what I am saying now?
5.Random Events. Every now and then you'll get a random event. Sometimes you get a wonderfully expensive item and others a mean old pant devil will steal something from you. This is why it is important to keep all of your valuables in your deposit box. If you don't already know by now, you obtain a deposit box by signing up with the bank. Duh! Anyway, I usually find codestones and such on the floor. Sell them! They bring in quite a pretty neopoint.
6. Stock Market. The stock market is a good way to get neopoints. You see, all you have to do is buy cheap. Then when the price it's worth goes up. Sell it then. But I may warn you. Make sure have at least 20 neopoints out when you sell. The chia dude charges you 20 neopoints. Be prepared.
By now you should know the basics to earning and saving NP. No, you don't scam and hack people. No, you don't cheat and steal. It's wrong and petty. Plus you'll just get frozen for it so why bother? You put all of that hard work in to stealing some one else's account when you could be playing games, quests or something! Think about it. Earn NP the right way. Enjoy!
