The Cousins Gibb - The Cousins' Christmas Show

For your holiday merriment, Tomothy Gibb has authorized me to upload the audio soundtrack to the 1988 network television special "The Cousins' Christmas Show". (Which network actually aired this program has never been clear.)
The Cousins Gibb
(Reginald, Tomothy and Stigfried), purveyors of pop delicacies that were (according to them) shamelessly appropriated by their more famous cousins (the Brothers Gibb, aka, Bee Gees) apparently had a syndicated television variety show at some point in their mysterious history. Appearances on the Cousins' holiday special include a cast of regulars from the program including:
- The Glum Guys: A pack of nay-sayers, a veritable Greek chorus. They could be counted on to arrive and add counterpoint whenever Reg would wax nihilistic. Purported to include Glum (of Gulliver's Travels/Banana Splits fame: "It'll never work..."), Shleprock (of Pebbles & BamBam fame: "Oh wowsy wowsy woo", and John Lydon (of Public Image, Ltd., first album fame: "Stained glass windows keep the cold outside..."). (Some reports hold that the Glum Guys were the result of a drab cloning experiment.)
- The Fake Freds: A group of Fred Flintstone impostors. While at the time of the broadcast, the origins of this cohort was obscure, the advent of the internet has enabled your Cousologist to acertain the circumstances, if not the exact technology of their alien origin
- George Takei: Not a regular on the show, per se, Star Trek's Mr. Sulu was the spokesperson for the show's sponsor, Roget's Thesaurus, and his memorable commercial announcements are included here.
This soundtrack appeared as a limited cassette audio release in late 1988. The mp3s here are dubbed from the original stereo cassette master. Someday when I REALLY have nothing better to do, I'll do a nice new digital mix from the 4-track source tape. For now, hope you enjoy this as-is!
Love, Salaams and Merriment,

NO MISTAKIN' CHRISTMAS
Somethin' in the air again
You know the feeling don't you, then
Went shopping at a local arcade
You bought my gift but I paid
Salvation Santas ringing a bell
Family room's got that pine tree smell
Put a star up on the tannenbaum
Thanks for the tube socks mom
'Cause it's Christmas time
Hear the sleighbells chime
Can you spare a dime AGAIN
