Giuseppe Zangara
Otherwise known as "Joe," he attemped to assassinate president elect FDR in 1933. Didn't happen, obviously. And no, I don't know who the old guy standing next to him is.
John Schrank
Schrank was an odd man with some equally odd ideas. One of these was that NO president should EVER serve more than 2 terms, which Teddy Roosevelt tried doing. Like Zangara, Schrank was unsuccessful, and TR even gave a speech after being shot (And he did NOT end up as pres for the 3rd term anyway).
