Certain Sports decrease teen intellegence Karate Instructor Megan Zachi, NJ, has finally proven that Karate is unhealthy for Young Adults (teens). Although Karate may keep young adults physically fit, it requires memorizing multiple moves and techniques, meaning less room for School work. Studies show that if all Teenagers in America took Karate lessons, state averages would drop by 9.5%. It may not seem like much, but imagine if your child suddenly started getting C’s rather than As and Bs. This theory may prove true on other sports as well, but Karate, having over 50 Justus and 70 Combinations to memorize and then some. Sports such as Basketball, hockey, soccer, baseball, and swimming seem to check out fine. More to come.
