Breeding Guide
In G + S you can breed your pokemon at the daycare below Goldenrod City (they do not have to be the same pokemon, as long as they're the same type...eg. if u gave a female eevee to the woman and a male rattata to the man, you' get a female eevee who knows an attack of the male).
You'll know when you have an egg because the man will be standing outside the house. Speak to him and he will give you the egg.All newborns are at level 5
The time it takes for two Pokémon to breed depends on how closely related they are
- 2 fire-types will take the longest
- 2 fire-types with the same icon will take a shorter time
- 2 of the same Pokémon take the shortest time
The time it takes for an egg to hatch depends on exactly what Pokémon it is.
Breeding Hints
Breeding a more advanced male Pokémon with a female Pokémon (the female's level does not have such an effect on the baby), the newborn will, after a few breeding attempts, know the most powerful attack of the male Pokémon.For example, breeding a Lv5 female Pikachu with a Lv50 Ampharos (who knows the most powerful electric attacks), you can get a Pichu who knows Thundershock, Thunderwave, Charm and Thunder, and so this newborn will be very powerful as it grows up.
Doing the same with a female Magmar and an advanced male fire-type can give you a Magby who knows ember, smog, leer and firepunch.
Breeding Cheat
If you breed any male Pokémon with a ditto, the newborn will be the same as the male as ditto has no gender (eg. breed a male eevee with a ditto and you'll get another eevee)N.B. This cannot be done with the Legendary Pokémon

Tyrogue (Found on Lower Level of Mt. Moon-A trainer will give him to you after you battle him and speak to him again
