TIPS ON TOURNEMENTS
You should always practice your deck against other decks before everything starts.Keep track of what works and what doesn't.That info can help you fine tune your deck.Make sure you have everything in a proper order.
Get lots of sleep.Sleep is important because when your Drowzee(get it?) you may make a big mistake. For example while drowzy you may play your Bulbasaur against a Charizard. That would really be bad.sSo remember sleep is a good thing to get.Stick with the deck you are most comfortable playing and the one you think you can win with.Play your deck a few times before the tournament.Don't play it too much or it might get stale.
Warming up by playing other players is a good way to get warmed up and to get ready. To do so,you have to arrive early. But,if you do play against other people sooner, you're mental picture of winning may be distorted and you may think it'd be a jinx. Also you might not want other players to see your deck before play starts. They may modify their deck to overplay yours.
Just have fun. That's the most important thing.
