Burning Pokemon Cards

My friend gave me a pokemon card. My first impulse was to burn it. So i took it out to the barbicue took 20 or 30 matches and proceeded to light it.

Ten matches later I gave up on this approach. It was abvious that the card wouldn't burn without some help. So my friend ran into his house and brought out some liquid in a plastic cup. He said it would burn. I dipped the card into the liquid and lit it on fire. What the mysterious liquid was I don't know (after further questioning I found out that my friend didn't know either, but it looked flamable). The liquid sure did burn well, but after it burnt itself out I realised that the card was not burnt at all.

Hmm, what could I do? Finally, I ripped the card into small pieces, put in in the cup, and lit the whole thing on fire. The liquid burned up in a few seconds like before. The cup melted, shrivelled up, and finally caught on fire (at that point i put it out). But the card was left unchanged.

My advice is not to try to burn pokemon cards. It doesn't work. Find a different way to destroy them.

Corrections

I would like to appologize for the above article. Although every occurence in it is completely true, I conducted further tests on the subject and found that pokemon cards do indeed burn, although not well. They will ignite, but go out without burning up. So I do not recomend this as a way to dispose of them. Instead I recommend that you spit on them, rip them into small pieces, and flush them down the toilet. This should help remove the curses placed on them in the factories. Or you could send them to Iraq.

They will be put to use their in their WMD (weapon of mass destruction) factories as a potent biochemical agent
