Attack: [L] Lightning Flash (20) If the Defending Pokémon tries to attack during your opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin. If tails, that attack does nothing.
Attack: [1LL] Thunder Attack (30) Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed. If tails, Dark Jolteon does 10d to itself.
Pretty strong and solid card. I like it alot, it is my favorite Eevee Evolution Card. Also because it is cool. Let's take another look.
Lighting Flash
Very solid attack. For a single Lighting it does 20 and 50% chance your current Defending Pokemon can't hurt you next turn. This effect ends by Retreating but the 20 damage is very good and Dark Jolteon loves those Base Squirtles. It a great attack to build up until you get Thunder Attack ready.
Thunder Attack
Attack isn't great, but one or two Paralysis could mean the end for a Pokemon. It's a little expensize, but still cool. If tails though, the 10 damage to itselfs hurts it alot even though only 10. That 10 damage can make him a easy KO for Hitmonchan.
Stats
Dark Jolteon's stats are pretty bad. 50HP and Weakness to Fighting are such a bad combination. The Retreat Cost is normal and no Resistance is bad as well. Grrr@Wizards for making him have such bad stats.
Combos
Good in a Mono-Lighting Deck in day. Also a cool deck with Dark Flareon, they got some mean and quick attacking attacks! Good with Defender also and maybe Potion Energy since Thunder Attack does take a Colorless and does 10 to self if tails.
Rating
I give Dark Jolteon a 8.0. Really solid attacks, but the stats are lacking.
