NEW POKÉMON!

Pokémon Gold & Silver

It's been confirmed that the game will be released on Sunday, November 21, 1999 (today for me :^}) in Japan. A North American release, although not confirmed, is expected in September 2000. Pokemon Gold and Silver will be a sequel to the previous Green, Red, Blue and Yellow (Pikachu) editions. What's even better is that these new versions will be in full color. There will be new trainers (rumored a boy & a girl). And of course new Pokémon, including Denryu the electric dragon, Hoo-Hoo the owl & Lugia who is currently in the New Pokemon Movie in Japan (Which will be the sequel to our "Mewtwo Strikes Back" coming out summer of 2000).

This is a Pokémon before the evolution of Pikachu! It's an electronic type Pokémon, of course

This is a Pokémon before the evolution of "Pippi" (in U.S. It's "CLEFAIRY"). It's a normal type Pokémon. It is called the 'incarnation of the fairy'.

Hima-Nuts

"USOTSUKI" means the Liar.

Eipamu

It is a long tail Pokémon which resembles "MANKEY". "EPIA" means Ape.

Pupurin

This is a Pokémon before the evolution of "PURIN" (U.S. name is "JIGGLYPUFF"). Aint a cutie?

Upaa

It is a Pokémon which is similar to "UUPAR ROOPER", the water & ground type Pokémon.. it learns, "Water Gun" & "Tail Swing", by level 1. It learns, "Beats", by level 11.

Hassamu

It is a Pokémon which resembles "STRIKE" (U.S. name is "SCYTHER"). It has scissors hands!

Hagane-ru

It's a Pokémon which resembles "IWA-KU" (U.S. name is "ONIX"). "HAGANE" means steel. It is a steel & ground type Pokémon. Steel type is a new Pokémon Type.

It is the evolution of "LUCKY" (U.S. name is "CHANSEY"). "HAPI" means Happy & "NASU" means nurse.

A Flying/Night type. "Yame" = Darkness of the night & "Karasu" = Crow. I think he looks like the Mynah birds from Looney Toons or those Crows from "Dumbo".

Ele-kid

It looks similar to "ELE-BOO" (U.S. Name is "ELECTABUZZ").

Denryu (Tenriyuu)

An Electric type. Easy enough to identify; "Den" = Electric & "Ryu" (think Street Fighter) = Dragon.

Hoo Hoo

A Flying/Night type Pokemon.

Lugia

Not much info available on this guy.. but i can say he is totally ripping! He is in the new Japanese Pokemon Movie - which will be release in Summer 2000 for USA as the sequel to "Mewtwo Strikes Back" =^) (Look above at the Japanese movie poster).

Rediba

Yado-King (Yadokinku or Slowking)

He's a Water/Psychic Pokemon & is the evolution of SLOWBRO.

Mariru (Pikablu)

Water/Electric Type (deadly combination huh?) It's ears have radar abilities & it can hear from far distances. It was also featured in "Pikachu's Vacation".
