Wonder Why
VICTIMS N SURVIVORS OF KATRINA
I wonder why did they just leave the old
people in the nursing home to die,
I wonder how they felt rushing past them
How could they just pass them by?
I wonder why it took so many days for help
to get to their side,
I wonder if people was to scared to go and
help afraid they'd be the ones that died?
I wonder why this tragedy really even had
to take place,
I wonder if gods telling us that it is time
We looked death in the face?
I wonder where it will all end how many
Thousands will have to die,
Hopefully all will be repaired and we will
Get over this tragedy as time goes by.
Let this be a lesson to all
United we stand divided we fall.
