What is the Hokey Cokey? |

| Hokey
cokey is taught in three levels - beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Beginners classes run regularly and consist of 5x3 hours in which are
taught: Basic history Circle forming 1 Walking forward and backwards Identification of arms, legs and whole self Introduction to in and out |

| After this class, and only when the dancer is comfortable with the content, can they progress to the intermediate class which contains Circle forming 2 Musicality and basic lyrics In and out 2 Putting arms in and out Selecting which leg to put in and out |

| Regular visiting teachers come, and a new course will take place which will teach Putting legs in and out Basic turning around Direction and navigation Shaking it all about Knee bends 1 |

| Once the standard is high enough, more classes will be scheduled, although no-one had reached this standard yet. It is anticipated they will cover Navigation during the Hokey Cokey step Advanced circle forming in a square room Putting whole self in Singing along In and out technique (mens and womens) Knees bend 2 Arm stretch Rah rah rah Combining moves Doing the Hokey Cokey |
