The many faces of my life
Mother, daughter, sister friend and wife.
so many faces, but where do I fit in
where do I begin?
I was born the youngest
sister and daughter
as I grew I became a friend
as I began my life I became a wife
I learned of a love like no other
the day I became a mother.

where do I begin?
I'll tell you a little story my friend
it started from deep within
like slices of a fresh baked pie,
the sparkle in my daddy's eye
the beautiful bride that made my mother cry,
the mother who teaches her children how to fly
where does one begin and the other end?
because to all I am a friend
so many faces, but where do I fit in,
where do I begin?
Like pieces to a puzzle with out them all
I'm not complete,
yet standing alone
I'm right at home,
The faces don't compete
they blend nicely into one,
Shining bright just like the sun,
I searched the world over
and was amazed at what I had found
by just lying their quietly on the ground
so many faces, but where do I fit in,
where do I begin?
The answer is quite simple and comes from deep within
I begin by being my own best friend
for only then will the love never end.
