And Now . . .

He waits at the juncture,
The meeting of two entities
One predisposed and one preoccupied.
The statement brought forth
Rings the bells of primordial bliss;
That which he clings to;
That which rules his heart.
As angels gather their golden virtues,
One was found missing and unknown of destination;
The one with the features that sing of innocence,
Hope, enlightenment, and courage.
She who plays with the stars;
He who watched from afar her dance of amazement.
The connection, a chance taken in the night;
His grasping that extra question and celebrating the answer;
Six hundred twenty-three days and he continues.
Spoken and unspoken emotions
Accentuate and diminish his self-worth.
All the while she remained forever in the light.
Her light her summons;
His heart in total acceptance.
The question of the validity,
Prodding and testing his faith at will;
His forever denouncement of the impossible.
And now . . .
He wonders if at all.
