Thoughts
Thoughts roll in
Often aimless in their approach.
Images of little consequence,
Do sometimes provoke chills.
Mediocrity speaks it's mind,
Where wisdom has no place.
Falsified proximities
Fill me with their vile taste.
My requiem is distant,
So it seems so clear to me.
Though life brings so much sorrow,
There's still too much for to live.
And yet as they continue,
My thoughts as though unbound,
Leap and grab my conscious,
And force me to respond.
Pushing as though relentless,
They fill my head with awe.
With every scroll on paper
My release is ever realized.
Speaking to me from depths unyet tapped,
My destiny lies in wait.
No regrets, I've learned from my Love,
Only lessons to be achieved.
I'll take you with me, though it is your choice,
To follow as you may.
Just open your heart, and listen close,
To the thoughts within my head.
