Waiting For You

Leaves once green, now turned to ambered brown,
Churn with the earth to make its fertile ground.
Composed to decompose, yet silken to the touch,
The settled rhythmic turmoil set to grow and mulch.
Pronounced in vicarious existence,
These leaves do wander free
And wrap themselves within a soul;
A soul sought for refuge in a dying sea.
To skim this wild torment
The breath of life and love set sail,
Your physical is my vessel,
I'm loosed upon the gale.
The course I make towards open doors
Now fleeing in my distance,
Castrated, perforated, and bludgeoned to more,
I play the hand of recompense.
Fear me not, me Love,
Forever frothed in your wake,
My plea to you is simple,
Its contents abound, for passion's sake.
The natural wonder of a love drawn true,
In salient recognition of our past;
I cling to thee disregarding all apprehensions,
Hold me forever in your grasp.
For I am alone,
And waiting for you.
