Forever Into Night

Slipping through the cracks
To the other side
The other dimension
An upward spiral being inverted into
A clever juxtaposition of my own procuring
Time not tested but withstanding
Seen notwithstanding
Plunging into a crypt of darkness
An edge ever so sharply blunted
The fall of effortless mindlessness
Not caring where to land
Or how to fall
As long as the fall is achieved
When existence leads
Without a bearing of weight
I know not nor can foretell
My sight set to unrealistic dreams
My dreams the keepers of my sanity
Headlong into insanity
Alone
Braving a forever night
The stars shut out to the one lost
Fear punctuated by bliss
An unfeeling euphoria
I eclipse existence
I pass forever into night
