I LOOK TO THE SKY

I look through the mirror
and what do I see?
A lonely cold figure
staring back at me.

I look to the sky
North, east, west and south.
Hoping to forget
the words that escaped my mouth.

What was said that lonely cold night.
Who we saw (the clown could have died).
The lone bird flying along.
Singing a lovely tune, singing a lovely song.

When out of no where the teeth grabbed it's throat.
Bone crunched and blood flowed.
Now the bird sings no more.

I look to the sky
North, east, west and south.
Hoping to release a screaming shout.
I look into the puddle hoping to see
somewhat of a man resembled to me.

I feel the rain, cold dripping on.
I feel the blood as the wolf howls on.
A lone baby cries as her mommy dies.
These are the things that scare me.

A little child sees the results
as the fire takes away her chance to see.
Death is all around snatching whoever is first
to hit the ground.

I look to the sky
North, east, west and south.
Sad that I know I will never find out.
The traps snatch the child.
The baby cries in pain.
The blood flows to the soil.
The process begins again.

A knife intrudes where it doesn't belong.
A man in dying trying to hold on.
I look to the sky and what do I see?

These are the thing at most truly scare me.
