Hopeless Beliefs For A Hopeless World

I believe out time has come
I believe in a world filled with love
And a world devoid of hate
I believe in a world filled with light
A light that penetrates the darkness in our lives
I believe there is a world filled with truth and trust
A world were lies and broken trust are eliminated
I believe in a world free of prejudices and discrimination
A place were we are judged for who we are
A world were equality and freedom are key principles
I believe in a world without corruption, power, and money
But in a world based upon the good that we can contribute
I believe in a world were everyone lives free
Were no-one suffers
A place were hurt and pain are memories of the past
I believe in a world filled with joy and happiness
A world drained of evil and hate
And a world filled with everlasting life
Were jealousy, selfishness, and angry thoughts do not exist
I believe in a world were we can overcome our problems
A place were we have the strength to carry on
I believe there is world were peace rules over all
But can this world ever exist
Or are these only hopeless beliefs that live within me
