My gaze wanders to a blackening sky
Watching as an evil darkness sets in upon us this day
Watching as flowers once alive begin to wither and die
And I know I am the reason for all this evil, and that I cannot stay
For there is nothing here but the dark words I speak
And the reason I must leave is known to no one
But this is my life and I know its coming to an end
For now I must leave before this darkness moves in and all goodness is done
Once again I am sent fleeing from this darkness that seems to sets in like a bad trend
And here alone in the mists that surround us, me and my lover stand
