If You Can't Catch A Break

Do you feel like your life is spinning out of control?
No matter what you do everything is taking its toll
You’re tired of being tired, tired of crying
No longer do you have the desire to keep on trying

For the life of you, you can't seem to catch a break?
How much more on earth can one person take?
You keep on hoping, you keep on praying but your faith is wearing thin
You don't know if you even have what it takes to win

Don’t let anything bring you down
You will be standing on solid ground
If you don’t believe you’ll only fall apart
And you won’t have anyone to give to you a jump-start

Everyone at some time or another goes down the same road
Where they feel like any minute they’re going to explode
They curse, they scream, they throw in the towel
Looking and acting as if they are on the prowl

You need to stay strong before you fall into the bottomless pit
so it is not worth it to give up and quit
and nothing is worth the aggravation or worth the thrill
So whatever you do don’t come to a complete stand still

Don’t let anything bring you down
You will be standing on solid ground
If you don’t believe you’ll only fall apart
And you won’t have anyone to give to you a jump-start

Don’t leave yourself stranded with no way of getting back
Sooner or later you will get yourself back on track
Keep on believing, keep on praying and keep on moving ahead
Try seeing and running for the finish line instead.
