My Song
My Song

Line votive candles in a shallow dish and surround with thrown rocks or various river rocks of differing shapes and sizes. Rustic clay pots evoke the feeling of lace draped windows and the answering shore. Tuck in a bits of moss and roses for a hint of green and red. Add a splash of fresh a lavender or seasons end flowers or fall foliage for decided touches.

Place colored pieces of glass or marbles in water with tops of delicately placed flowers(buds) scattered amongst them Place ocasional candles in there own holders amongst them lightly scent water with lavender, rose or euclalyptus scented oil

Don't get mad get even

ADULTS ONLY:

So you had a fight. Sit back have a nice cup of herbal tea or a shot of elderberry brandy and get to work. The only reason your scraping up the shard remains of the pottery vase his mother gave you and the occidental dishware bought for the sole purpose of breaking it is because you really need work on your garden. It's healing and therapeutic even if you can't spell the word. You came to the right place a good bit of male bashing and creaative ingenuity wish will remind you why God put men on the earth and make up I don't expect to see for a good month at least.

Materials:

Tile cutter and snipper(purchase or rent at tile stores).I suggest peurchase you went to the thrift store for more haven't seen in a long time dishware.glass cutter, notched trowel, ceramic wall tiles, mirror or mirror tile, tile adhesive, gray grout, sponge, paper, terra cotta pot, clean cloth, safety glasses.

Draw the pot's dimensions on paper, then sketch a design. Cut tile and mirror pieces(fragmented shards place within the design)to fit designed pattern; place on paper. Spread tile adhesive on one section
of the pot using the trowel. Transfer the pieces to the pot and press in place. Let adhesive dry. With a damp sponge, press grout between the shards. Wipe excess grout from surface with a damp sponge. Let grout dry, then polish away haze(are your eyes open are his?)with a soft cloth.

Not sated yet, Well....

Design 2:

Materials: Sea glass(from the beach or floor or purchase at crafts, import or souvenir stores), terra-cotta pot, notched trowel, tile adhesive, gray grout, sponge, clean cloth

Using the trowel, cover section of the pot with tile adhesive. Press the glass pieces into the adhesive, fitting them together so little space remains between shards. Wear gloves and watch for sharp edges. After the adhesive dries, press the grout into the openings with a damp sponge. Wipe away any excess grout. After the grout dries, polish away the haze with a soft cloth.

Before next week start collecting all those rocks and stones thrown at you and the ones you threw at the/them-- entourage and I'll tell you what to do with them. Yes , its another flower pot /garden ornamental but its cool so... you know... read on.

Here a loving tender warm touch:

CUTS AND SCRAPES:

Wash your hands before handling the injuries, to prevent infection, then cleanse a minor cut or scrape with cool water or alcohol or peroxide. Apply a light coat of over the counter antibiotic ointment and cover with a bandage or gauze dressing.

CALL THE DOCTOR IF: the cut is deep and/or you cannot control the bleeding of the wound. note: don't make the wound deep just so you can see me. I may be off that day.

smiles, Good Cheer and Love.
