Questions Of The Heart
When I pplace my arms around you, kiss you gently on your lips, can you feel the love upon you right through my fingertips?
If a tear rolls down my face, will you gently wipe it away, hold me close until tomorrow so I can face another day.
I ask of these for reasons, my heart won't tell me true. All I really want to know, baby, can I count on you?
I want to be with you, yet the lights of love seem dim, please help me to go forward, not look back to where I've been.
I'm trying hard to change my body, mind and soul, be extra patient I ask, cause time, it heals so slow.
