life with you seemed so magical
but it was all a lie.
a lie that was so complicated
that it really was very true
a truth that had been so heartbreaking
why did i fall in love with you?
a life less ordinary
with a hint of extraordinary
was something i wished for,
something i dreamed about.
but nothing like what you wanted -
what you had in mind.
a life ultra extraordinary
with nothing of the ordinary
was something you wished for
and your dream had come true.
two polar opposites attract
for only the mere fact
that their hearts skipped a beat
and they were swept off their feet
