Lies dripping from lips
Easily sipping
Drinking deeply
From the well
Of sinful regret

One lie, one web,
Caught, suffocating.
Searching always reaching
For Light
For Peace
For Forgiveness
If possible

Never possible

The harmed forgive
their hurt heals
but thy sinner's memory wears
a soul so bare

How does a heart
make up such harm?
When the only blame
is it's own fool's
mourning

Thy fear remains
to haunt
each dawning

Awakening painfully
Hoping and dreaming
Of moments
just bare
seconds,
where memories
of the
deception
are gone.

Yearning to forget
a betrayal of thy own
toward a love so loyal,
so completely thy home

Erased many yesterdays
from the mind
thou harmed

Still burning
in thy heart
constantly
grinding
it's song

Thy soul slowly
dying.

Drowning in grief
Grasping for reprieve

From memories of deceit

Trapped forever in a prison
called
Guilt

Thy very own soul
the warden
with a key to
thy sanity

If only
set free
to
live
at last

To
forgive
thyself.

To convice
thyself
that.....

He did..........
