Al-Haj (The Journey) ------------------------ Strong and supple. Always by me, watching, Warning, guiding, leading. Never will you let me fall.

You were there. I never

saw you. Forgive my Blindness. Never felt you. Thought I knew you. Never knew your heart, at all.

Time has come for me

to learn you; read you; touch you; with my heart. I was stubborn, foolish, Headstrong. Tried to take myself apart. Apart from you, I lost my heart.

Now at last I can be happy.

Something good is happening To me. I feel joy and sweetness from you. Your care is obvious. Your intentions clear.

Me and you I know together

will be strong and blessed by fortune. Happiness will be our shelter. Courage is our key to the door of Love, forever.

Soulsearching

--------------- All my life I’ve been used as a plaything for indolent savages. Men who ravaged my emotions to fill up their spare time. Who caused me to be ridiculed, and had me think it was sublime.

Time has at last come for me,

me to leave the lapdogs howling, send them crawling the world, in search of fresh meat to mock.

My day is now upon them.

And I scour the faces of men to seek out one who will be true and courageous to me, where so many before have hidden from my feelings for him.

Have I glimpsed the face of an angel?

I need look more closely, though

words not explain my inner joy at possibility.

Joy consumes me indefinitely, but

dread awareness of a pain to come. Of leaving innate beauty leaving me.

Soulmate departed. All has dark

and black and I go on still. Alone.
