My Love
(written after my first
I was sitting on a hill
By the temple side
Blowing soapy bubbles
Into the warm black night
When one of the bubbles
Showed me who my Shiduch was
Showed me what she looked
like
Showed me all our kids
Into her pretty face
I couldn’t help but stare
This girls smile and eyes
Had me gasp for air
She was kind and cheery
As pure as a spring
And her big Jewish soul
Made me want to sing
As a strong wind blew
I began to care
But the soapy bubble
Burst into the air
As the tear rolled down
Half way down my chek
I have come to know
Life wasn’t so bleek
This was all because
A good thought came to
I think you cared for me
As I Cared for you
And if this is so
I thank G-d for you
And not only I
Our 10 kids will too
