~ A DREAM COME ALIVE ~

It seems like the most wonderful dream come true
As in your blissful sleep I watch over you
When you are awake I realize that dream has indeed come to life
As magically I forget all my worries and strife
The love and joy you give me cannot be beat
And I am blessed to have found someone so sweet

~ FOREVER FRIENDS ~

* Dedicated to my friends, who mean the world to me. *

Laughs, secrets, and homework are things we share
You may not always show it, but I know you truly care
At one time we were into playgrounds, cartoons, and toys
Now we indulge in music, cars, cell phones, and boys
I might get peeved when you are having one of your off days
But no matter what, I will never try to change your ways
You are who you are and do what you do; same goes for me
Because of that, best friends we shall forever b e
No matter where I go or whatever I happen to do
There's always a special place deep in my heart just for you
We'll grow old someday and may not want to shop at the mall
Either way just keep in mind that I'll still love you all
Our friendship is unmatched, and each day I pray that this ever ends
But I know that it won't because we are forever friends

~ REMEMBER ~

Remember the stars sparkling in the midnight sky
That's where your hopes and dreams all safely lie
Remember the moon and how it glows in the night
That represents the smile you wear so bright
Remember the sun that shines upon the world each day
That gives you more courage with each individual ray
Remember the wind softly bustling through the air
That signifies how you live, without many a care
Remember the flowers swaying gently at your feet
That are just like your heart, beautiful and wholesomely sweet
Remember the ones you love, for they won't always be around
That have given you love, and kept you safe and sound
Remember each waking moment, even those blue
And to yourself and this world remain forever true

~ THREE DAYS ~

The first day was empty but not all lost
Why must they bend the rules, leaving you doublecrossed?
The second day was empty still and my will was growing lazy
Authorities were not impartial, their motives were rather hazy
The third day was emptier yet, and I am now tragically insane
In my heart, the cruelty of their rules had left such a stain
Each night I would quietly sit and wonder why
Their unfairness was harshest towards you, it is no lie
This world will always be full of numerous things unjust
But just remember, in me you can forever trust

~ IN YOUR EYES ~

In your eyes I see so much more than a gorgeous shade of brown
Something that enchants me, keeps me from feeling down
In your eyes I see a desire for a love so tremendously great
Something that makes me want you now, I don't want to wait
In your eyes I see a playful glimmer that makes me smile
Something that makes any day, good or bad, seem worthwhile
In your eyes I see determination and amazing sense of control
Something that I have consistently lacked, and it's you I extol
In your eyes I see an undying love, for life and for me
Something that always reminds me that we are meant to be

~ GONE ~

You can try to comfort me with what you have to say
But nothing can change the fact that you've been sent away
My world and very existence feel so much lonelier now
Since it's over and done, I am left to merely wonder how
You were creating precious memories one second
Then nowhere to be found, for someone else beckoned
It may all seem so unfair, but that's the way life goes
How this will eventually play out, no one knows
None of this appears logical right now, but it will soon be understood
That we've tried everything imaginable to keep you, did all we could
Someday I will see you again; things will be different, yet the same
And I'll always reminisce about the old days when I hear your name

~ SET ME FREE ~

How do your unique ways overpower me?
I yearn for the answer so I may be set free
From your disdainful mind that only knows of secrets and lies
And I must also flee from those mesmerizing and evil eyes
No longer will I be tormented by the cruelty in your heart
Or for that matter, let your harsh words tear me apart
Never again shall I feel like you own me, right down to my soul
Soon enough I hope to end this and have full control
Of my own life, happiness, and aspirations, not you
It will be my determination and sheer desire that see me through
Once I have finally rid myself of this burden and sorrow
I can raise my head and look forward to a bright tomorrow

~ ALL THAT WORK ~

Putting my all into my work until I weep
Tears of frustration on my face as I then try to sleep
My schedule is cumbersome, I am always kept busy
With enough assignments to make any person feel dizzy
Countless nights are spent at the computer, what a lark
Sometimes I lose focus and sit silently in the dark
The teachers have spoken, my work is now due
I start to doubt if any of it was worth the pain I went through
Now I have a night free of task, time to enjoy just for me
Until the teachers speak again, brooding in my room is where I'll be

~ CHASE THIS PAIN AWAY ~

Please listen to what I have to say
I want you to chase this pain away
Fron my heart, my soul, and my mind
Life, since you left has not been so kind
My days are spent pondering life and love
I seek guidance and refuge from the Lord above
To show me how to stay sane, stay strong
Until the day comes where you're back where you belong
With me, you had someone faithful, someone who would care
I always thought the rest of our lives was something we would share
A life full of happiness, adventure, and simplicity, but no
You left and my spirits plummeted to a sorrowful low
I would do anything to bring you back and set things straight
We could give it another try, I'm sure it's not too late
To settle differences and rekindle our once untouchable romance
I beg you to think this over, and give us one more chance
I will never again falter and make you want to leave
We can make it this time, we just need to believe
In each other's love and trust, and listen to what the other has to say
And only then will you have chased this pain away

~ A PERSONAL WAR DECLARATION ~

This may be an unpleasant situation, but not worth my tears
No, I'll do what has to be done and I have no fears
Inside my head there is a plan that I must see through
For my best friends, who ultimately deserve justice, not stress
I vow to take action and rid them of this horrid mess
Though it could spell trouble for me, it's totally worth it
As in the end, I shall have eliminated their incessant bullshit
I am generally a patient, caring, and gentle being
But now the line's been crossed and it will be stars they're seeing
If there's one person you shouldn't jostle or anger, it's me
Since I'm fully capable of making lives as hellish as can be
Many hours have been spent in my bedroom silently reeling
While at the same time worrying about how my friends are dealing
So now I'm going to settle everything once and for all
And those who seemed mighty had better be prepared to fall

~ THAT FACE ~

Those deep, intense, and passion-filled brown eyes
That could not possibly be hiding secrets or lies
They are so devastatingly gorgeous, it is plain to see
And I get shivers down my spine when you look at me
Those soft, gentle, and luscious lips
That I yearn to touch with my very fingertips
They are always smiling, making me rather happy
And I just melt on the spot, I know it sounds sappy
But everything about you is more than amazing
So please forgive me if I am constantly gazing
Maybe someday you will feel the same about me
And we can give each other our unconditional love, just maybe
