Lucina, Guardian of the Sword

Lucina lies here, when the night air is clear,

never sleeping, she's ever awake.

Her tunic glows white, in the Moon's silver light,

by the shores of a deep Faery lake.

Her Spiritual Power, she stole from a flower,

while wearing the mask of the moon,

But she knows she must hide, with the Sword by her side,

while singing a sad Faery tune.

For she stole in the night, the great 'Sword of Light'

which the Lake Faery gave to the King,

And so, banished for good, from the deep Faery Wood,

songs of sorrow, Lucina must sing.

'Til she flings in the Lake, for Morgana to take

down to Avalon, where it must stay,

The Sword, which alone, could be drawn from the Stone,

by the Brother of Morgan le Fay!
