Halloween

This is the night of threatening doom,

When Witches Fly;

When Shadows flicker across the room,

And Spirits Spy;

And Magic hangs heavy upon the air,

And the sly, old Fox forsakes his lair,

And strange cats prowl with eyes that glare,

And the Bullfrog croaks, "Beware! Beware!"

And Witches Fly!

This is the night when 'Evil' glows,

When Witches Fly;

When the old, stone fountain overflows,

And Owlets Cry;

And Wizards chant their Secret Rune,

And black shapes hover around the Moon,

And the night air moans a wild, wild tune,

And Hecate stirs the Cauldron's spoon,

And Witches Fly!
