The Cromwell Coach is a Phantom Coach,
with wheels of steady pace,
But at night, at night, in the pale moonlight
six Headless Horses race.
Don't stand in the path of the Cromwell Coach,
stay back, give way, make room,
For some folk tried, and some folk died,
they were carried to their doom !
So should you meet the Cromwell Coach
by the eerie 'Rocking Stones',
Just close your eyes, ignore the cries,
and the travellers' ghostly moans !
