Why

Why can't children be polite?

Why do they feel they have to fight ?

We Supervisors, (towers of strength),

Discuss our problems at great length.

We don't resort to thumps and kicks,

Or any such disgraceful tricks.

We simply use our Common Sense,

There's just no need for violence!

No child has ever run to us,

With, "Stop that fight now, what's the fuss?"

You never see us racing hard,

And falling over in the yard.

We don't come limping up to you,

And cry, "Oh bathe my leg, please do!"

We're all just perfect, as you know,

We wish someone would tell us so!

And when it's raining, really hard,

And no one's outside in the yard,

We Supervisors, (staunch and true),

We know we must watch over you.

We take a class of girls and boys,

But who is it who makes the noise?

So why can't children try to be

Well, ..............perfect?....Just like me!!!!!!
