By the chattering 'Chicken-steps',
deep in Shipley Wood,
I took my little sister there,
to stand where Daddy stood.
"If you're by the Waterfall,
when it's in full flow,
Close your eyes, and make a wish,
you must believe, you know."
"Oh, why do you not close your eyes,
and make your wish with me ?
Just hold my hand, and softly say
who you would love to see."
'I wish my wish a hundred times,
when standing here with you,
I wish to have our Daddy home....
when will our wish come true' ?
