This website is for writers of fiction and poetry. Writers of any skill level are welcome to submit stories to this website and can have them posted on the Internet. Aside from a few differences this site is just like any other website that writers can make submissions to. Selected Tales & Poems is however a much smaller site than most of the others. It takes this form to try to maintain fewer members, but have more of their stories and poems presented to the public because experience has shown that on large writing websites with 100 members or more a new writer to the website would consider himself lucky if one person noticed his story.

I will try to keep this website more exclusive but in a fair way, and make a more friendly and sociable community available to any writer who wants to be apart of it. To join my website and get your own place on the members page all you have to do is show that you want to be here and will be an active member. Any non-member can submit stories to this website and get them posted. If you do this a few times, offering your stories or poems to entertain readers I will be more than happy to add you to our members list at your request. Fiction Tale and Poetry writers are all welcome.

Once you are a member you'll have your own page, on which you can provide any information you wish about yourself. Links to all of your stories or poems will be lined up on your page, and reviews (from other authors) can be listed under each. This is a free opportunity website. If you have any concerns about your work being plagarised I reccomend you get it copywrited on your own before submitting it. Any business between writers, agents and publishers including but not limited to advertising is welcome. Our forum can be used for any kind of communication. It will at least be our main link to community socializing. You can talk about each other's stories, write reviews, spread advice, and just chit chat.

You may have noticed the contest page. Rules for contests will be found there. I think every writing website should have a contest page. Enough said. I hope all writers out there, young and old, appreciate this site and are willing to give it a try. Just remember this website's first intention is not to profit money, for anyone. It is merely a haven for writers to come and share what they enjoy doing for entertainment.
