Jerry was sneaking out through the back door with a bag of money already. That little... His thoughts were cut short when bullets started hitting the wall behind his head. Skillfully he ducked, and rolled behind the counter. A scream came from one of his men; it seemed to go on forever, surpassing even the explosions of guns in volume. Things were starting to fall apart now.

Ty wasn’t going to take it any longer. He walked through the gunfire over to an ammo box sitting next to one of the dead crooks. A hang grenade was in plain view, and he pulled the pin and tossed it with horseshoe ringing accuracy right behind Artimus’s patrol car. It seemed too easy to watch. But when the time came, Ty didn’t see any explosion. Wondering if perhaps the grenade had been thrown back without him seeing he looked around on the floor frantic, but could see only bodies and bullet shells. Returning his eyes back to the cops he witnessed Artimus standing up over the car and making his hero-like charge. Ty knew better than to mess with a man like Artimus in a moment when he’s fighting like he is on his last limb. Sprinting towards the back door, Ty dodged the bullets coming from Artimus after he had killed some of the rest of the men behind the barricade. After busting through the door to the back hall, Ty found two of his men still alive reloading their weapons in the confines of the concrete hall.

“Time to go boys.” Ty said walking past them.
“What about the money boss?”

“It’s already left the building, hurry up.” Ty went into a jog till he was out the back door, then he sprinted when he saw Jerry off in the distance, already having a huge lead. His two loyal companions followed. A new gunfight developed.

Jerry returning fire on Ty was the last thing he expected after he had the guy on the run. “Shit, is everyone trying pop me in the head today?!” Ty said, reloading his gun with his back to a dumpster. Police sirens were the next things to disappoint him. He was out of their view, just around the corner of a building, but his one man still standing in the alley was in plain view to the street. The foolish man with a forehead bigger than his brain opened fire on the police car, shooting the tires, side view mirror, and windows. He destroyed everything except the two cops inside, who were now returning their fire. Their aim was better and he was dead seconds after the attack. A moment later the other man, whom Jerry had shot in the leg, was dead after he raised his gun towards to cops to continue the fight.

No one can kill me. I’m invincible. His thoughts reassured him. Performing with the same skills he has had all his life, Ty took his turn. Diving out from behind the wall he had the cops in his sights way before they noticed his surprise attack. Ty unloaded two shots, one from each gun, before hitting the ground. It was all he needed to drop the cops. Then, rolling back onto his feet continued his run after Jerry. He knew exactly where he was heading. Jerry is too dumb to avoid the warehouse.

“I say we end this now, it’s getting late.” Artimus said. “I’d like to trust you guys. I’ll let you go, seeing as how there’s nothing really I can do.” His lie didn’t matter. The darkness pouring in from the skylight was making it difficult to see.

“Well?” Jerry said still looking at the door in front of him. He was still having trouble letting go of the money. Artimus did nothing, but just sighed. Ty was staring deep into Artimus.
