" Tunnel of Sunshine "
There was a time when I felt so lonely,
and my world was empty and blue,
I would sit and cry many lonely tears,
my heart didn’t know, just what to do…
There were days when I would sit and wonder,
if life would ever shed some light,
My mind would drift in different directions
and the tunnel of sunshine, was no where in sight..
My eyes would fill with lonely tears,
and my heart would feel such pain,
I would lower my head in sadness
for in my heart I felt, I was truly going insane…
Then one day it happened, and my
heart quickly stopped in fear,
I noticed my heart no longer ached of sadness
my eyes not even shedding a tear…
Without realizing what happened,
you entered my life with loving arms,
You've promised to love me forever
and never, would you cause me any harm…
You are filled with love and gentleness
a feeling I’ve longed to share,
You have whispered the words, “I Love you”
and promise to always be there…
Your love has captured my heart
and you've made my tears fade away,
I can smile with tears of happiness
for I know your love, is here to stay...
My love for you is stronger today,
and I know I’ll be just fine,
your love for me now tells me
You are indeed, my “Tunnel of Sunshine”...
