This Poem is dedicated to Denise and was inspired by a
letter written to her by her sister Carolyn Correa
" Denise "
You were not just my sister, you were
someone I called my friend,
You were there when I needed someone to talk to,
and your ear for listening, you would always lend...
We may have always had our ups and downs,
but what sisters don't have that,
Sisters wouldn't be sisters, if
they didn't argue like little kitty cats...
I know I always depended on you,
you always gave me a helping hand,
You helped me with so many things,
and for you, I will always take a stand...
There is one thing that I miss so much,
and that's talking and laughing with you,
I miss our little arguments and discussions,
and many times, it makes me feel so blue...
I miss the times we would go for our rides,
to God knows where,
We would let the car lead us, because we
knew, we would always get there...
I just want to tell you Denise, that I love you
and I miss you with all my heart,
I will hold your memory closely,
because I never want it to depart...
