Gene McCormick is a native of Ohio, having moved to the Chicago area in the late '70s. He has had seven books published, the most recent being "Rain On The Sun", a collection of narrative and prose poems. He has also published books about chess and the racing industry. His poetry, evoking episodic dramatizations of daily life, have begun to appear in lit magazines nationwide. He is the president of a Chicago based marketing company.
